Remember Business Development?
It is difficult re-developing, but it must be done. If not, we will pay for it in the future. Today I am visualizing how the expansion will keep us connected to our base. The market has changed tremendously in only a few short years. The face of our legal marketing audience is younger, takes advantage of more opportunities, and cockier than ever. Which is a good thing in the legal field. The question we have had to ask ourselves, “How do we fit?” The young lawyers today are go getter’s, technology savvy. We have adapted to a virtual world to meet the needs of our audience. We have tested and tested and tested and have seen increase in productivity and the bottom line for young attorneys who operate on low or no budgets.
Business development is pivotal to long-term careers. Pivotal for us and the clients we market for. The time we are taking to develop is an investment in ourselves and in our future. Please read what Ford Harding has to say about Making Time for Business Development.
We are renewing and transforming after years of doing it the same way. Whatever business or service you provide, always remember to take time for business development. It is just as important to the dance of rainmaking as capturing new business.
Always a blessing to share, dream your world!
